Trilogy of the Dead

Trilogy of the Dead contains three short stories involving a vampire, zombies, and a revenant with unfinished business. The opening story, “Rebirth,” tells a poignant tale of a bullied teenage girl grieving over the murder of her mother. In “Homes for the Dead,” an ill-tempered homeowners’ association manager gets her comeuppance when the residents in her development confront her. A sickly, elderly woman in “Roses for Elaine” seeks to escape sordid conditions at a nursing home. Who will help her? All three stories provide samples of my brand of horror. Collectively, about 8,500 words.
