On September 9, 2010, Art Sippio and Ric Croxton of http://thebookcave.libsyn.com/ will interview author Tom Johnson and me about The Spider’s Web and Tom’s other NTD books. Tom will discuss his favorite character, Black Ghost. I will be discussing Dark Side of the Moon and a potential sequel; also Twilight Healer and Blood Moons and Nightscapes (this latter was a joint venture between me and Tom). NTD magazine and work by other NTD authors, including upcoming releases will be mentioned.
One upcoming release I’d like to hone in on is Rod Marsden’s Ghost Dance, a sequel to Disco Evil: Dead Man’s Stand. The cover features an illustration by David L. Transue. The most notable villain is Hercule, who decides to remedy the overpopulation problem by killing off a lot of people with deadly bacteria. The protagonists, vampire Petra and werewolf Frank Burkhard become captive prisoners in Hercule’s scheme, and in the process, are attracted to each other. Disco Evil enjoyed great reviews, and I believe you will find Ghost Dance a delight. If the proof copy I get passes muster, the book should be ready for sale in about two weeks. It will sell for $13.95 (print) and $4.99 (PDF eBook).
Night to Dawn 18 will go out in the mails on September 1. I just received the print run, and the magazines are looking great. NTD 18 features cover art by Marge Simon and Teresa Tunaley, and interior work by Neil Benson, Tom Johnson, Rod Marsden, Cathy Buburuz, JoAnna Senger, Todd Hanks, among others.
Ghost Dance and NTD 18 will be on the table during the interview. The taping of this interview will happen on September 9, but it will be some weeks before the podcast is downloadable for viewing. Stay tuned for updates on the interview, Ghost Dance, and NTD 18.
